Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tidefrontsupply.com and any order placed through it. The site is operated by Tide Front Supply, LLC. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Intended use

All products are sold as chemical reagents for in-vitro laboratory research only, and are not supplied for human or veterinary use. The Research Use Policy sets this out in full and forms part of this agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age and acting in a legitimate research capacity to order. By ordering you represent that you meet both requirements.

3. Prohibited uses

Products may not be used for administration to humans or animals, as drugs or active pharmaceutical ingredients, in clinical trials or diagnostics, as supplements, food additives or cosmetics, or in any application involving human or animal exposure. See the Research Use Policy.

4. Regulatory responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining the regulatory status of any material in your jurisdiction and for complying with the law that applies to you. We provide no regulatory, medical, or legal guidance.

5. No medical or therapeutic claims

We make no claim regarding safety, efficacy, dosage, or therapeutic benefit. References to mechanism or biological activity describe published laboratory literature only.

6. Tools, calculators, and reference material

This site publishes unit-conversion calculators and a dosing reference. They exist to make arithmetic and published figures legible, and their limits are part of this agreement:

  • The calculators convert figures you supply between milligrams, millilitres, micrograms, and insulin units. They do not originate, recommend, or validate a dose, and a result is only as sound as the numbers entered.
  • The dosing reference reproduces published ranges together with the strength of evidence behind each and the work it comes from. A range appearing there is not a recommendation, and most entries rest on animal data or reported practice rather than human study.
  • Neither is a protocol, medical guidance, or an instruction to administer anything.

You remain responsible for verifying every figure against your own protocol before relying on it.

7. Assumption of risk

Research chemicals carry inherent risk. You assume full responsibility for the handling, storage, use, and disposal of everything you order. We assume no liability for damage, loss, or injury arising from misuse, improper handling, or any use outside the terms above.

8. Orders, pricing, and availability

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. We may decline or cancel an order, including after it is placed, where stock is unavailable, where a pricing error has occurred, or where we cannot satisfy ourselves as to eligibility. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

9. Returns and refunds

Returns are limited to damaged shipments, incorrect items, and defective batches, on the terms and within the window set out in the Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

10. Shipping

We ship within the United States. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays are outside our control. Risk passes on delivery.

11. SMS messages

If you opt in at checkout you consent to automated transactional text messages about your order, at the number you provide. Message frequency varies with order activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your number with third parties for marketing. Consenting to messages is not a condition of purchase.

12. Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

13. Misrepresentation

Providing false information about eligibility, affiliation, or intended use is a material breach. We may cancel orders, close accounts, and pursue remedies available to us.

14. No licence granted

Sale of a product grants no licence, express or implied, under any patent or other intellectual property right. Determining patent status and lawful use is your responsibility.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order, product, or use of this site will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tide Front Supply, LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates against claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of a product, your breach of these terms, or your failure to comply with applicable law.

17. Right to verify and refuse service

We may request verification of eligibility, research affiliation, or intended use at any time. Failure to provide it may result in cancellation or refusal of service.

18. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, regulatory action, supply interruption, or natural events.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction and venue. Nothing here waives any right you have under California consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.

20. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when your order is placed.

21. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
