Ipamorelin reconstitution calculator
Reconstitution calculator for Ipamorelin, prefilled for its 5 and 10 mg vials. Get the concentration, the dose volume and the U-100 syringe reading.
Start from a compound
Fills the vial size and a starting water volume. Only compounds with a citable range fill a dose.
The second is the question asked once the syringe is already filled, or when checking a vial someone else reconstituted.
1 mg = 1,000 mcg. Published figures are usually micrograms; vial labels are milligrams.

Ipamorelin — Limited human data
From human studies that are small, early-phase, or for a different indication than the one this range is usually cited for. The prefilled dose is the low end of that range, 1-2x daily (commonly AM fasted plus bedtime), over an 8-16 week cycle.
Vial size and water volume are a starting point for the arithmetic, not a recommendation.
Adding more water makes the same dose a larger, easier-to-read mark on the syringe. It does not change how many doses the vial holds.
Vial sizes and starting volume
Ipamorelin is commonly supplied in 5 mg and 10 mg vials. The calculator opens on a 5 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water — a starting point for the arithmetic, not a recommendation. Change either and everything recalculates.
That combination gives 2.5 mg/mL, so one insulin unit holds 25 mcg and a 100 mcg dose is 4 units.
What dose to enter
A range of 100–300 mcg per dose can be cited for Ipamorelin, 1-2x daily (commonly AM fasted plus bedtime), over an 8-16 week cycle. The dose field opens at the low end of it.

- Ipamorelin, the first selective growth hormone secretagogue. — Preclinical characterization study. Original characterization of ipamorelin's selectivity for GH release; animal pharmacology.
- Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling of ipamorelin, a growth hormone releasing peptide, in human volunteers. — Human pharmacokinetic study. Models ipamorelin's pharmacokinetics and GH response in human volunteers.
- Prospective, randomized, controlled, proof-of-concept study of the Ghrelin mimetic ipamorelin for the management of postoperative ileus in bowel resection. — Human randomized controlled trial. Randomized human trial for postoperative ileus — a different indication than the growth-hormone use the schedule above targets.
- Pharmacological characterisation of a new oral GH secretagogue, NN703. — Preclinical pharmacology study. Characterizes a related oral secretagogue, not ipamorelin dosing directly.
- Safety and Efficacy of Ipamorelin Compared to Placebo for the Recovery of Gastrointestinal Function (NCT01280344). — ClinicalTrials.gov registry. Registered human safety/efficacy trial, again for gastrointestinal recovery rather than growth-hormone dosing.
